Introduction
Power Capacitors Ltd. has been a leading specialist in the design, application, manufacture and supply of Power Capacitors since 1973. The company has occupied its present Birmingham factory for over 15 years, benefiting from the ample production space and easy access to the country’s motorway networks. Power Capacitors Ltd. supplies capacitors for Power Factor Correction, Harmonic Filters, and Power Electronics applications to Industrialists, Equipment Manufacturers, Electricity Supply Companies and Contractors alike. Comprehensive stocks of capacitors and associated equipment enable quality products to be produced at competitive prices and within short delivery periods. In 1984 the company commenced manufacture of the TRANSWAVE Converter, a passive device designed for the operation of machinery driven by three phase motors where only a single phase supply is available. Converter assemblies are supplied to equipment manufacturers, machinery distributors and end-users alike.
