These systems are designed to be installed into the customer's own switch-room as a fully automatic stand-alone solution to poor Power Factor.

 1) STANDARD MKP-g AUTOMATIC CAPACITOR CUBICLE

50kVAr to 450kVAr Range

Automatic Stages (standard 25kVAr and 50kVAr)
Optional Terminal, Isolator or Fuse-switch in-comer as required
480V dielectric MKP-g Dry-wound gas-impregnated 3-phase self-healing Capacitor Technology (BS EN 60831 pts 1 & 2)
Suitably rated soft-switching Contactors
Control Circuit Protection
Fixed Sections available
Forced Air Cooling where required
Option of a Reactive Power Relay that allows non-symmetric switching if required - fully self commissioning with Power Factor Indication and user defined target setting

Should more than 450kVAr be required SLAVE Cubicles can be manufactured to add to the kVAr offered by the MASTER Cubicle.

2) DE-TUNED MKP-g AUTOMATIC CAPACITOR CUBICLE

50kVAr to 450kVAr Range

Automatic Stages (standard 25kVAr and 50kVAr) de-tuned to 210Hz.
Optional Terminal, Isolator or Fuse-switch in-comer as required
480V dielectric MKP-g Dry-wound gas-impregnated 3-phase self-healing Capacitor Technology (BS EN 60831 pts 1 & 2)
Suitably rated soft-switching Contactors
Control Circuit Protection
Fixed Sections available
Forced Air Cooling with Over-temperature cut-out and indication
Option of a Reactive Power Relay that allows non-symmetric switching if required - fully self commissioning with Power Factor Indication and user defined target setting

 3) TOP HAT MKP-g AUTOMATIC CAPACITOR CUBICLE

35kVAr to 87.5kVAr Range

This range is designed has been designed to offer small value stage switching (usually 5kVAr or 12.5kVar) to better meet a Power Factor target. Ideal for adding as a slave unit to an existing Power Factor panel to improve performance or as a Master for small loads with large variance in duty loads

Automatic Stages (standard 5kVAr and 12.5kVAr) available as Standard or De-tuned.
Optional Terminal, Isolator or Fuse-switch in-comer as required
480V dielectric MKP-g Dry-wound gas-impregnated 3-phase self-healing Capacitor Technology (BS EN 60831 pts 1 & 2)
