CAPACITOR ELEMENTS Utilised in the Automatic Assemblies and Cubicle Options the range of Capacitor Elements offered by Power Capacitors Ltd are manufactured in MKP-g - Dry wound Gas-impregnated technology. Capacitor Elements can be supplied as either single-phase units or, more commonly, as three phase units rated for use at 415V 50Hz with a 480V rated dielectric. The Standard MKP-g range available, as elements, is from 1.5kVAr to 25kVAr - please see Drawing DAT2090 (extended to 100kVAr in our Module Range MOD1328). . A lower value MKP range is also available, as elements, from 0.25kVAr to 4kVAr. Please see drawings DAT1335 (0.25 to 1.1kVAr) and DAT1336 (2 to 4kVAr) All capacitors are designed and manufactured to the following approvals :- BS-EN

REACTORS Utilised in the Automatic De-tuneable Assemblies and De-tuned Cubicle Options the range of Reactors offered by Power Capacitors Ltd are 3 phase iron core double gap type. Reactors can be supplied from 5 to 50kVAr and are rated for use with our standard three phase units rated for use at 415V 50Hz Standard De-tuned Frequency = 210Hz (others available on request) Linearity 2.2 IN Please see Drawing REA1795 for the large Reactors and REA2083 for the smaller types .
