SITE SERVICES

The Site Services offered by Power Capacitors Limited are split into two main types :-

SURVEYS

● Snap Shot survey – an engineer attends site at an agreed time and takes a measurement on which a quotation is based – this would highlight whether de-tuned equipment is required or not and allow us to quote for installation should it be required

● Load survey – an engineer attends site at an agreed time and sets up equipment to measure the load over an agreed period (usually 24 hours or 7 days) to give a more complete picture of the duty loadings. All the information measured, recommendations and quotation is supplied to the customer along  – this would highlight not only Power Factor, harmonic distortion but other potential Power quality issues.

Maintenance and Servicing

Power Capacitors Limited offer a comprehensive servicing and maintenance service for ALL types of Low Voltage Power Factor Equipment. ALL installed capacitor equipment will require maintenance checks on a regular basis. This will ensure maximum performance and functionality to the original design requirement.

Power Capacitors Limited recommend all PFC equipment receives a maintenance check, from one of our maintenance engineers, once a year - especially in the case of equipment that has been operational for more than 3 years. The service offered by Power Capacitors Limited is comprehensive and UK nationwide and covers all makes and models of Low Voltage Power Factor Correction equipment.

Installation & Commissioning

Power Capacitors Limited offer an installation and commissioning service. This would require a site visit but would ensure that the Power Factor Equipment is safely and correctly installed and meets our warranty requirements.
